In the beautiful mountain region of Western North Carolina, Blue Ridge Christian Church is located between the cities of Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard. Our congregation serves young families, retirees relocating to our area, and everyone in between. A fully staffed nursery and classes and activities for children and adults reflect our desire to serve all people.
Blue Ridge Christian Church is a nondenominational Christian Church associated with the Stone-Campbell or Restoration Movement of the early 19th century. One of 5,500 Christian Churches across the country, Blue Ridge Christian Church seeks with them "to reform the church in terms of its origin, mission, and hope, for the sake of Christian unity, for the sake of mission unto the world" (Robert Fife).
We call ourselves "Christians" and our gathering a "Christian Church," yet we realize we are not the only Christians. The name "Christian" is a name that includes rather than excludes, and we seek to include all who follow Jesus in faith and life.

The time has arrived for our congregation to move from temporary facilities into a new, architecturally designed building. We have been challenged by the surrounding neighborhood and are watching with anticipation the development of three major housing subdivisions with 1 +/- mile of the church property. We believe there is significant growth potential for the church with a new influx of families.
We are conveniently located at the corner of Butler Bridge Road and Airport Road (NC Highway 280), approximately 2 miles south of the Asheville Regional Airport.
Geographically, we are centered between the beautiful Western North Carolina cities of Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard.

From Hendersonville, Flat Rock area:
Take I-26 West to EXIT 40, Asheville Regional Airport / NC Highway 280. Turn LEFT onto NC Highway 280 (south) and travel approximately 2 miles. Blue Ridge Christian Church will be on your LEFT.
From Asheville, Weaverville Area:
Take I-26 East to EXIT 40, Asheville Regional Airport / NC Highway 280. Turn RIGHT onto NC Highway 280 (south) and travel approximately 2 miles. Blue Ridge Christian Church will be on your LEFT.
From Brevard, Pisgah National Forest Area:
Take NC Highway 280 North from Brevard. From the intersection of NC Highway 280 and NC Highway 191, Blue Ridge Christian is located approximately 2 miles ahead on your RIGHT.
Bible School, 9:30-10:15 a.m.; Worship, 10:30-11:45 a.m.
At Blue Ridge Christian, we believe that Christian Education is an important part of each family's week. We have classes from nursery through adult during our Sunday school time. During our Sunday morning worship service, we emphasize praise, prayer, Biblical preaching, and the weekly observance of the Lord's Supper. We have a nursery for the little ones and invite older children to remain with their parents in adult worship.
Wednesday Night Services: Dinner, classes for all ages, 6:15 - 7:30 p.m.
We have a variety of classes, activities and music on Wednesday evenings. Recent adult classes have studied worship, the Gospel of Matthew, and improving marriage.
Purpose Statement: Recognizing our dependence upon God for His guidance and direction, the purpose of Blue Ridge Christian Church is to honor God by being disciples who demonstrate the Great Command (love God and love neighbor) and the Great Commission (make disciples of all nations).
Community Involvement: Blue Ridge Christian Church has been involved in its community in several meaningful ways. We are partners with the Glenn C. Marlow public elementary school, which is one-half mile from our building. We have sent volunteers to tutor children, help with school projects and work in the media center.
In connection with our school partnership, we have offered classes and sponsor groups on parenting skills, marriage improvement, and divorce recovery. We have offered English as a Second Language classes in cooperation with Blue Ridge Community College to parents of the Marlow School children who do not know English. In addition, we host Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troop #624 and Girl Scout Troop #39.
His Last Command, Our First Concern: We are dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We are a congregation of ministers, each striving to reach others with the message of love and forgiveness brought by Jesus Christ.
We are a mission-minded church. Over the years, our support of missionaries and others outside our congregation has increased significantly. We have the ultimate goal of giving away half of our income! Our mission partners include the following:
